Princess Cupcakes

This one was for my daughter's 5th birthday. She had a Disney Princess Tea Party. These are chocolate cupcakes with strawberry buttercream. The buttercream didn't turn out as great because as I was making the frosting I got distracted. I ended up using granulated sugar instead of confectioner's sugar. Oh, well, the girls didn't mind.

Cherry Blossom

Here's one of the fist attempts at making cupcakes for a party, a bridal shower to be exact. This cupcake was inspired by my sister-in-law, Kristine. Cherry Blossoms was her theme and let me tell you, it was one of my favorites!
